Who's Behind Oinver
Hi, I'm Eduard Bezverhnii
Oinver isn't a big operation with a warehouse full of staff — it's me, tasting and sourcing every bottle myself. When you take the quiz, I read every answer. When you rate a bottle, I'm the one adjusting your next box. And if you're on the Private Sommelier plan, you're texting with me directly, not a support queue.
I started Oinver because most wine recommendations are generic. Mine aren't — every box is picked by hand, for you specifically.
My own wine education didn't come from a classroom — it came from years of seeking out small producers directly and slowly learning to tell a wine's story from its glass. That's the same lens I use on your profile: not just “red or white,” but why you like what you like.
That's also why the rating loop matters so much to me. A subscription box that never learns is just a guess mailed to your door every month. I'd rather build something that gets quietly better at knowing your palate the longer you stick with it. If a bottle ever misses the mark, just reply to any email — it reaches me, not a ticketing system.

Your nine quiz answers set your starting profile. Every 1–5 star rating you give afterward is layered on top, so the profile keeps sharpening with each shipment — no need to retake the quiz.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, skip, or cancel anytime from your account before each month's cutoff date, no fees or penalties.
What if I don't like a bottle?
Rate it "Didn't enjoy" and I'll steer away from that style immediately — plus I'll credit your account for next month.
What does Private Sommelier include exactly?
Direct access to me — unlimited bottle recommendations on request, help planning wine pairings for dinners and events, gifting on your behalf, personal cellar-building advice, and priority access to limited allocations. Pricing starts at €299/month and scales with sourcing requests.
Is Oinver a company, or is it really just you?
Just me. I'm Eduard Bezverhnii, and I taste, source, and pack every recommendation myself — there's no warehouse team or call center behind this. That's also why spots are limited: I can only personally manage so many members well.
