Bezverhnii.
Oinver isn't a big operation with a warehouse full of staff — it's me, tasting and sourcing every bottle myself. When you take the quiz, I read every answer. When you rate a bottle, I'm the one adjusting your next box. And on the Private Sommelier plan, you're texting with me directly, not a support queue.
The name itself is two halves poured together. οἶνοςis the ancient Greek word for wine — I'm from Greece, so it's the first word I ever had for it — and “ver” is the end of Bezverhnii, my family name. The oldest word for wine, signed by hand. That's what you see rising in wine at the top of this page.
What draws me to wine was never the characteristics — not the tannins, the notes, the vintage charts. It's what a bottle creates: the dinner it slows down, the conversation it opens, the memory that attaches itself to a glass and stays there for years.
That's the lens I read your profile through — not just what you drink, but the moments you're drinking it for.

A live tasting, every month
Forty-five minutes, one-to-one. We open the same bottle at the same time and taste it together — what to look for, why it's built the way it is, and what it wants beside it.
The service card
Every bottle arrives with the ritual written down: serving temperature, how long to decant, which glass, when to open it, what to cook. The part a restaurant does for you and never explains.
Menu design for your occasions
Hosting on Saturday? Tell me the occasion and who's coming. I'll design the progression — the courses, which bottle lands when, the order of service.
The wine-list decoder
Out for dinner anywhere in the world: photograph the wine list and text it to me. I'll tell you what to order, what's genuinely worth it, and what's marked up three times over.
A direct line
Not a support queue — my number. Text me from the shop, from the table, mid-meal. If I'm awake, you get an answer.

For the dinner that matters, I'll join by video for ten minutes to introduce the wine to your guests — the way a sommelier would, if you had one.

How does the taste quiz become a “profile”?
Your nine quiz answers set your starting profile. Every rating you give afterward is layered on top, so the profile keeps sharpening with each shipment — no need to retake the quiz.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, skip, or cancel anytime from your account before each month's cutoff date, with no fees or penalties.
What if I don't like a bottle?
Rate it “Not for me” and I'll steer away from that style immediately — plus I'll credit your account toward next month.
Is Oinver a company, or really just you?
Just me. I'm Eduard Bezverhnii, and I taste, source, and pack every recommendation myself — there's no warehouse team or call center. That's also why spots are limited: I can only personally look after so many members well.
What actually happens on the monthly Collector call?
We book a time that suits you and talk for about forty-five minutes, one-to-one over video. We open the same bottle at the same time and taste it together — I walk you through what to look for, why the wine is built the way it is, and what to eat beside it. You can also just bring questions, or your plans for a dinner you're hosting.
What's the difference between Collector and Private Sommelier?
Collector is me on a screen: a live monthly tasting over video, a service card with every bottle, menu design, and a direct line. Private Sommelier is me in the room — I fly out to you, design the evening, and host it at your table myself, and I can bring in a chef who cooks in a Michelin kitchen to handle the food. Collector is a monthly membership; Private Sommelier is quoted per occasion, because no two evenings are the same.
Is the chef included in a Private Sommelier evening?
No — and that's deliberate, so you're not paying for one when you don't want it. My quote covers the wine, the design of the evening, and my time hosting it. If you'd like the food handled too, I'll source a chef who cooks in a Michelin kitchen and quote them separately, on top of the evening. You'll always see that as its own line before you agree to anything.
Why is Collector €999 when it's still four bottles?
Because you're not paying for glass — you're paying for the sommelier. The four bottles stay exactly as they are; what Collector adds is my time: a live monthly tasting, a service card with every bottle, menu design for your occasions, the wine-list decoder, and a direct line to me. It's the restaurant experience without the restaurant markup, and there are no add-ons or per-session fees on top.
